This Sunday, 11 April, SABC 2 will feature two programmes of Jewish interest. The Simcha Programme at 12:15 will be screening an insert on the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

The Issues of Faith slot at 9am will feature the documentary "Counting the days to Revelation". The Programme was filmed in 2008 and looks at the observance of the Omer period. It follows two South African Jews - young Doctor Daniel Israel and Artist and Spiritual teacher Sarah Evian - during the period between Pesach and Shavuot to see how they grow in their spiritual observance, while counting the Omer.
