Now a spoof on the spoof

The spoof on the Zapiro cartoon was simply (and cleverly) signed by Nohero2.jpg

A very clever spoof of the now infamous Zapiro cartoon on THAT bar mitzvah has been doing the rounds today. The faux cartoonist cleverly signs his name as “Nohero” and tells MyShtetl.co.za that the “reference to Sderot is that Goldstone had given two weeks to the Palestinians and spent only 30 minutes to Sderot (in which he fell asleep after 15 minutes).”

Zapiro’s original cartoon, which inspired both mirth and anger in the community, was published in the M&G last Friday. Shtetlers can click "ZAPIRO" to see our original story - as well as another Zapiro on Goldstone cartoon that peeved the community last year and became one of the most viewed content items ever on this website.

The publisher wishes to acknowledge to the bar mitzvah boy that we have been most sensitive to the most important day in his life with regard to our ongoing reporting on this story. It can be most difficult to be the grandson of probably the most newsworthy and controversial member of the SA Jewish community. It is an unfortunate and regrettable fact that almost every news story affects peripheral lives.
