Chabadgirl’s recent blog, "JEWS, INTERRUPTED", became the most read single content item on MyShtetl, ever! And it had eighteen comments and interactions.
We were so busy watching her numbers run that we completely forgot to tell users about last week’s, "THE BAALEI TESHUVA EXPERIENCE", which we think is her best yet. Read it. "Being baalat teshuva is magnificent ... but... Becoming a citizen of the USA for a foreign national can take 3-8 years, becoming accepted as Jewish seems to take generations even when you’re not a ger."
That in turn resulted in her latest, "JEWISH WEDDINGS ROCK", also not being flagged on the home page. "I told her what I was up to she became one of my most ardent cheerleaders. She was there each and every time I found some ‘incontrovertible’ evidence about my lineage to give to the Beth Din and she was just as present when I was left shattered as they kept asking me for more. Ultimately, when I did get enough information together and was told that I was finally accepted as Jewish it was her I phoned first"
