The UOS has been aware for some time that the community has been experiencing problems “getting through to us which is the result of faulty Telkom cables.”

“Unfortunately,” say the UOS, “Telkom could not fix the problem and so we have installed new state of the art systems to replace the old ones.”

Their new system is on a digital Telkom line and their new number is: 010 214-2600.

Make a note of this as the old number (011 485-4865) is no longer in operation.

Note that the prefix is the new “010” and not “011”.
